Roof repair in Anaheim and Orange County
Roof repair means finding where water actually gets in and fixing that spot without replacing the whole roof. A&J Roofing repairs tile, shingle and flat roofs from Anaheim across Orange County: cracked or slipped tiles, lifted shingles, failed flashing around chimneys, vents and skylights, and worn valleys.

Who calls us for roof repair
A stain on the ceiling rarely sits under the hole. We trace the water back up the roof, fix the cause, and tell you plainly whether a repair will hold or just buy time.
- You have a ceiling stain, a drip, or a damp smell in the attic after rain.
- Wind moved tiles or shingles and you can see it from the street.
- The roof is mostly sound but one area keeps causing trouble.
- You are selling or buying and an inspection flagged roof items.

What does roof repair cost?
The price for roof repair depends on the roof in front of us, so A&J Roofing gives you a written price after looking at it and before any work starts. These are the things that move the number most.
- How easy the area is to reach and how steep the roof is
- Roof type: matching an older tile profile takes longer than a shingle patch
- Whether the damage stops at the surface or reaches the underlayment or wood deck
- How much flashing has to come off and go back on
How roof repair works with us
Why the leak is rarely where the stain is
Water gets under a tile or shingle, runs down the underlayment or along a rafter, and drops where gravity finds a gap. On a tile roof it can travel several feet before it shows. That is why we start at the stain, then work uphill on the roof until we find the entry point.
When a repair is the wrong call
If the underlayment is brittle across the whole roof, patching one spot moves the leak next door. When we see that, we will say so and price both options so you can choose.

Roof repair questions
Other services
Can you repair a leaking tile roof without replacing the tiles?
Often, yes. Most tile roof leaks come from the underlayment or flashing below the tile, not the tile itself. We lift the tiles in the problem area, repair what is underneath, and relay the same tiles, replacing only the broken ones.
Do I need to be home for a roof repair?
Not always. We need access to the roof and, ideally, the attic or the room where the leak shows. If you will be out, tell us when you call and we will work out access with you.
How do I know if I need a repair or a new roof?
A repair makes sense when the problem is local and the rest of the roof is sound. If damage is spread across the roof, or the underlayment is failing everywhere, replacement usually costs less over time. We explain what we saw either way.
